Polka Galerie will exhibit three works from my latest series Slightly Elsewhere at Paris Photo 2025, held at the Grand Palais in Paris.

The series is based on Okinawa, but it reflects on something broader: how we perceive our society, and how its structures and histories quietly frame what we see. Working with washi—whose tactile surface subtly destabilizes even familiar images—I explore the fragile line between seeing and perceiving.

On Friday, November 14 at 3 PM, I will also hold a book signing for Vanishing Existence — a limited-edition, handcrafted book made with washi paper and published in 100 copies.

This presentation will serve as a prelude to my upcoming solo exhibition at Polka Galerie in January 2026, where a broader selection of prints from the series will be shown.
