CONTACT #1 – Any Given Day is the first issue in a zine series that explores photographic storytelling through contact sheets. By presenting entire sequences—complete with pauses, repetitions, and missed shots—the work invites readers to experience photography as a process of observation and presence.

This volume documents daily life in the slums of Medellín, Colombia, during a surge of drug-related violence between 2009 and 2012. Rather than focusing on spectacle, the images follow the slow rhythm of walking, waiting, and witnessing—revealing a world suspended between danger and the mundane.
